È nato a Candia Lomellina, in provincia di Pavia, nel 1914. Ha studiato a Milano all’Accademia di Brera dove ha avuto come maestri Aldo Carpi e Francesco Messina.
Ha incominciato ad esporre nel 1936 e ha conseguito molti premi nazionali per la scultura. Nel 1942 alla Biennale di Venezia, nel 1949 a San Remo, nel 1951 ad Alessandria, nel 1953 a Carrara, nel 1959 ad Ancona (Premio Marche), nel 1960 a Forlì (Premio
Garzanti), nel 1960 medaglia d’oro M.P.I. Torino, nel 1966 Premio Piemonte a Torino, Mostra Nazionale Arte e Sport a Firenze, nel 1970 medaglia d’oro Associazione Calcistica Fiorentina.
Ha eseguito per il Santuario della Madonna della Guardia di Tortona il colossale gruppo della Mater Dei. Per la chiesa madre della Pia Società di S. Paolo in Alba (Cuneo) la porta in bronzo. Per il Santo Padre ha eseguito il calice di S. Paolo e due croci astili.
Ha partecipato a numerose mostre nazionali ed internazionali. Sue opere sono presenti in molte gallerie nazionali tra cui quella d’arte Sacra dei contemporanei a Villa Clerici (Milano) e in molte collezioni private.
É presente con due opere nella Nuova Galleria degli artisti contemporanei in Vaticano. Dal 1942 ha insegnato figura modellata al Liceo Artistico di Brera.
Muore a Candia Lomellina il 31 gennaio 2003.

Narciso Cassino was born in Candia Lomellina in the province of Pavia in 1914. He studied at the BreraAccademia where his teachers wereAldo
Carpi and Francesco Messina. In 1942 he started teaching figure modelling at the Brera Liceo Artistico.
He had begun to show his work in 1936, going on to win many prizes for his sculpture. He took part in the Venice Biennale in 1942, San Remo in 1949, Alessandria in 1951, Carrara in 1953, and Ancona in 1959 where he won the Premio Marche. In 1960 he exhibited at Forli and at Turin where he won the Garzanti prize and the M.P.I gold medal. He was again honoured at Turin in 1966 with the Premio Piemonte. That same year in Florence he exhibited at the Mostra Nazionale Arte e Sport. Four years later the Florentine football association awarded him their gold medal. He made the monumental Mater Dei group for the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia at Tortona. For the mother church of the Society of
St. Paul in Alba, he made the bronze door. For the Pope he made the chalice of St. Paul and two crosses. Among the galleries where his work is exhibited is Villa Clerici, Milan. Two of his works are in the new gallery of contemporary art in the Vatican.
Cassino died at Candia Lomellina in 2003.
